Product Development Manager
Location: Northeast
Our client has an opportunity for a Product Development Manager
Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for the formulations team
Plan, organize and execute technical systems related to formulation, development, and maintenance of core products and provide creative leadership and expertise to a team of scientific staff
Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to a team of approximately 10 - providing leadership for various projects from inception testing through to commercialization or launch
Model and train creative behaviors to staff
Provide technical expertise and evaluation of new packages, products, systems, formulations, ingredients and improvements or cost reductions
Provide input to the selection of equipment for new and existing labs or manufacturing lines

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: |
10+ years of experience in R&D – with 5+ years of food science beverage experience is required. Previous experience managing teams is required. |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
Master’s degree in food science or related field is required. PhD is preferred. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$90,000-$120,000; + 15-20% Bonus |
