Director of Research
Location: Upper Midwest
Our client has an opportunity for a Director of Research
Responsibilities Include:
Provides leadership of all R&D activities on cheese in retail and foodservice by aligning R&D with business and organizational strategies
Provides vision and direction to team members
Oversees the development and supervision of research staff
Provides in-depth and breadth of knowledge and experience for multiple technical disciplines to assist in achieving Company goals
Creates short and long range R&D strategic plans for execution
Understands business and delivers timely insights to improve our competitive advantage
Identifies and assesses emerging technologies appropriate to business units
Fosters teamwork among a diverse group of individuals and technical disciplines
Drives growth and innovation for Valued Added Dairy Foods through superior technical and consumer insights

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: |
Minimum of 10 years experience in the food industry and a minimum of 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience. |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
BS in Food Science, Dairy Science or another biological field from an accredited university. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$130,000 - $150,000; + 21-30% Bonus |
