Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Packaging Engineer
Responsibilities Include:
Manage and/or lead multiple challenging
packaging projects that will have a major impact on the corporation as a
technical leader
Works closely with Brand Marketing, Consumer Research and consumers to develop
business growth opportunities for new and existing brands
Develops, organizes, manages, and coordinates projects while growing
understanding of packaging design, materials, equipment, and systems
Works closely with Sales, Category Management and Customers to identify in store
opportunities and category optimization
Exhibits innovation in discovery, advancement, and evaluation of new
technologies in the area of packaging/material handling
Provides leadership in the manufacturing facility for package performance
including; documentation, communication, trouble-shooting, and follow-up
Work effectively with packaging and engineering vendors
Identifies, evaluates, and implements packaging innovation; cost, performance,
functionality and/or design; based on product and brand needs and aligned with
customer and customer needs

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: |
At least 10 years experience is required |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
Bachelors of Science degree in Packaging or related field. Masters Degree in Packaging or a related a field preferred. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$92,000 - $110,000; + 15% bonus |
