Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Food Development Chemist
Responsibilities Include:
Direct the activities of one to four analysts
Demonstrate and/or develop expertise in the operation of key analytical instrumentation and direct/perform analyses
Consult with customers to appropriately apply testing to meet project objectives
Troubleshoot and problem-solve a variety of technical issues on ingredients and
finished products, involving aspects of ingredient functionality, processing,
and stability
Maintain state-of-the-art food science knowledge and laboratory skills to meet
business objectives
It is essential to this position that the candidates possess the ability to
identify issues, develop experiments and critically review data

BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field and at least 12 years of related experience, an MS degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field and at least 8 years of related experience or a PhD in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field with at least 6 years of related experience. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$91,500 to 120,000; + 15% bonus |
