Lead Product Development Scientist

Our client has an opportunity for a Lead Product Development Scientist

 

   Responsibilities Include:

  

Develop, organize, manage, and coordinate important international projects while increasing the level of understanding of diverse consumers and markets


Provide specific direction to assigned project teams to overcome significant technical and scientific hurdles


Actively train and coach peers and partners in the international areas regarding technical information, project management, scale up, and start up best practices


Display an in-depth understanding of consumer testing and shelf-life testing methodology with the ability to apply that knowledge to projects


Function effectively as a Project Manager, Planner, Coordinator, Communicator and Senior Technical Expert

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

BS Degree in science or engineering with 8 years experience, MS in Food Science or related discipline with 6 years experience, or PhD in Food Science or related discipline with 3 years of experience is required.

Minimum 3 years experience in ready-to-eat cereal or snacking product development.

SALARY RANGE:

$78,000 to $105,000; +15% bonus
