
Our client has an opportunity for a Lead Food Technologist
Responsibilities Include:
Develops, organizes, manages, and coordinates important projects while increasing the level of understanding of project executions, processes, and methods, as well as giving general direction to assigned cross-functional teams in accomplishing projects on scientific and technical investigation or developments
Keeps current with the latest developments and technology through investigation,
training, and communication within that discipline
Exhibits innovation in discovery, evaluation, and advancement of new
technologies in the area of food/process research and development, which can
have a significant impact on new products and/or processes, improved products
and/or processes, and capital spending avoidance
Provide innovative, timely, and cost effective concepts, developments,
improvements, or scientific insight and understanding, with respect to new or
existing products or processes
Demonstrates personal capabilities as a Project Manager, Planner, Coordinator,
Communicator, and Technical Expert within the department
Travel 50-70%

MS Degree in Food Engineering or Technology, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, Food Business Management or related discipline and 8 years experience OR BS Degree in Food Engineering or Technology, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, Food Business Management or related discipline and 10 years experience. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$78,000 to 105,000; + 15% bonus |
