Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Chemist
Responsibilities Include:
Design, develop, conduct and/or review experiments (e.g., laboratory or process experiments) in order to deliver new products; evaluate ingredient, product or packaging safety, efficacy or claims; or evaluate new ingredients, materials, products or processes
Identify, research and evaluate new developments or trends in related industries
Perform chemical analyses using instrumental methods in order to determine the composition of samples
Act as scientific, regulatory, technical or quality expert and consultant to other departments/business units
Explore and assess potential relationships with R&D partners
Create materials (e.g., memos, reports/updates, newsletters, web-based text) to provide information on department activities, progress of implementation projects
Author publications on scientific work for peer-reviewed professional journals and/or detailed project reports with complete experimental details
Determine training needs to ensure that the appropriate level of knowledge is transferred to the field
