Our client has an opportunity for a Associate Scientist
Responsibilities Include:
Manage product development projects
Access and utilize internal/external relationships to deliver science, technology and product innovation, and to support ingredient supply
Design, develop, conduct and/or review experiments (e.g., laboratory or process experiments) in order to deliver new products; evaluate ingredient, product or packaging safety, efficacy or claims
Design, fabricate and evaluate/assess (e.g., through laboratory testing) a working package, equipment or product prototype/sample against technical requirements, fit to concept or performance specifications (e.g., functionality and operational feasibility)
Write detailed and accurate reports for analyses, experiments or projects (e.g., equipment validation, evaluation of new processes)
Prepare samples and sampling plan for ingredients, intermediate or finished products, or other materials in order to perform analyses (e.g., chemical, physical, sensory, microbiological)
Identify, research and evaluate new developments or trends in related industries, technologies or materials (e.g., packaging, equipment, products, processes) using various methods (e.g., scanning databases, tracking market trends, software) in order to recommend new courses of action

$75,000 - 80,000 + 10% bonus |
