Our client has an opportunity for a
Associate Manager, Environmental Programs
Responsibilities Include:
Assist in the development and implementation of effective Sustainability and Environmental programs for manufacturing facilities and corporate facilities.
Assure that sound business decisions are made in the area of Environment by taking into account and being directly involved in the operational areas of productivity and cost reduction efforts
Assist in the completion of environmental reviews; including evaluating existing programs, establishing and coordinating new proactive environmental programs
Assist the facilities to correct deficiencies and advance their overall programs as a follow up to these reviews
Manage environmental consulting firms in the areas of compliance, sustainability, auditing and best management practices
Communicate and advise management, plants and other appropriate personnel of EHS information, regulations and community concerns
Develop proactive plans to address new regulations and environmental initiatives
Communicate and provide expertise to Engineering and Technology on environmental considerations for equipment selection, construction techniques and building design
Communicate and participate with government agencies in environmental matters

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: |
Five years of environmental experience is required |

EDUCATION REQUIRED: |
Bachelor’s degree in a physical science. An advanced degree in environment is preferred. |

SALARY RANGE: |
$65,600 - $90,000; + 10-15% Bonus |
